How To Decide Call or Put in Nifty
This is a strict alignment framework. If all three cues do not agree, you stay in No Signal.
Suhrid 3-Cue Decision Rule
| Direction | VIX | PCR | OI Dominance | Output |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bearish | High | High | Call OI > Put OI | Bearish Bias |
| Bullish | Low | Low | Put OI > Call OI | Bullish Bias |
| Any mismatch | - | - | - | No Signal |
Execution Discipline
- Do not force trades in neutral sessions.
- Respect stop loss before entry, not after loss.
- Avoid oversized positions during event risk.
- Treat this as a bias filter, not guaranteed outcome.
Why This Works Better Than Single Indicator Calls
Single metrics can be noisy. By requiring agreement across volatility (VIX), positioning sentiment (PCR), and structural pressure (OI), false directional calls are reduced.
